After the solvent and propellant have evaporated, the product is colourless, tasteless and odourless, physiologically inert, water-resistant, radiation-resistant and weatherproof. The product has been tried and tested many times and, unlike many silicone-free products, it works even under extreme conditions such as exposure to seawater, water vapour, sulphur dioxide, dilute acids and alkalis. Typical properties of RAVENOL Silicone Spray are its high dielectric strength and low loss factor, which are independent of humidity. RAVENOL Silicone Spray is used, for example, as a lubricant in vehicles, engines and bodywork, a water-repellent agent in the electrical and cable industries, a protective agent in plumbing, a care and preservation agent in the glass and ceramic industries, a cleaning agent in the marine and aviation industries, a release agent in the plastics industry, a protective agent in mechanical engineering, and a finishing agent in medicine, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
