VELAMP IL08 warning beacon

The VELAMP IL08 warning beacon is a signalling device designed to increase safety on construction sites, during road maintenance, or for marking obstacles. Thanks to its energy-saving LED technology and 6V battery power, it offers a long operating time. The beacon is equipped with an automatic twilight sensor that activates it when visibility is reduced and turns it off again in the morning. It attaches via a magnetic base, which allows for installation on any metal surface. With a battery life of up to 950 hours, it is a solution for long-term signalling.

Automatic operation and flexible settings

The beacon is designed for autonomous operation. The integrated twilight sensor automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, saving battery power. In addition, you can customise the type of signal to suit the current need. There is a choice between a flashing or steady light, enabling its use in a variety of situations – from warning of moving machinery to permanently marking a static obstacle. Thanks to the combination of energy-saving LED technology and the sensor, the battery life is up to 950 hours.

Durable construction and easy installation

The body of the beacon is made from durable materials adapted for demanding conditions. The orange polycarbonate diffuser is resistant not only to impacts, but also to UV radiation and weathering. The entire device has an IP44 rating, which means it is protected against splashing water from all directions and against the ingress of solid foreign objects with a diameter of 1.0mm or larger. Installation is very simple thanks to the magnetic base, which securely attaches the beacon to any metal surface, such as a vehicle body, construction machinery or metal barriers.
