The AXAGON network card with USB-A provides a fast and reliable way to connect your computer to a network using a standard cable. This external adapter simply converts a standard USB port into a full-featured gigabit RJ-45 interface. Its compact aluminium body with an integrated 15cm cable is an ideal solution for notebooks and ultrabooks that don't have a built-in network connector. The device uses a Realtek RTL8153 chipset and supports a wide range of transfer speeds from 10 to 1000Mb/s.

Fast gigabit connection
This adapter supports transfer speeds of 10/100/1000Mb/s, which delivers a stable and fast network connection. It connects to your computer via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, offering sufficient bandwidth to fully utilise its gigabit potential. You'll appreciate stable data transfers without speed fluctuations when downloading large files or streaming high-resolution video.
AXAGON network card with USB-A and automatic installation
Thanks to its support for the CDC-ECM standard, setting up the device is very quick and easy. On modern operating systems from Windows 8.1 upwards, driver installation is completely automatic, with no need to download them manually from the internet. The Plug and Play function lets you use it immediately after plugging the adapter into a free port on your computer.
Advanced network functions
The device supports a wide range of advanced technologies, including the IPv4/IPv6 packet Checksum Offload Engine to reduce the computer's CPU load from checksums. It also features support for crossover detection and auto-correction (Auto MDI/MDIX), working with VLAN tags, and a hardware Cyclic Redundancy Check to detect errors. Efficient network traffic management saves your computer's system resources.
Power-saving modes and remote computer wake-up
Integrated Power Management functions significantly reduce power consumption when idle or under low network load. The adapter supports ACPI, Link Power Management, and energy-efficient Ethernet according to the IEEE 802.3az specification. Advanced power-saving modes minimise the power consumption of a connected notebook when running on battery. The device supports various Wake-on-LAN modes, which let you start the computer remotely over the network. Wake-up is available via Magic Packet, Microsoft Wakeup Frame, or RealWoW! technology for waking up over the internet. Remote management of the computer in sleep mode is also facilitated by the implemented ECMA-393 standard.
Wide compatibility and durability
The adapter's aluminium casing provides reliable mechanical protection for the internal electronics while also effectively dissipating heat. The device works with Windows, macOS, Linux, and selected mobile devices running Android. The durable, lightweight metal body makes the adapter a practical travel companion.
