The AXAGON ADS-1PSN active USB converter easily adds an RS 232 standard serial port to your computer. The use of an original chip from the Taiwanese company Prolific guarantees flawless compatibility for the USB to serial RS232 adapter.

The permanently attached 1.5m USB-A cable is suitable for use with both desktop computers and laptops. The cable has gold-plated connectors and contacts, and the highly durable adapter body is also suitable for industrial applications. Double shielding protects transmitted signals from adverse interference.

The converter is the ideal computer accessory for connecting barcode readers, receipt printers, scanners, microcontroller programmers, CNC machines, modems, updating or configuring set-top boxes, security devices, switches, transceivers and other devices.
