The design allows for installation in computer cases of various sizes, while the low-profile bracket supplied in the package enables trouble-free installation of the card even in slim or low-profile computer cases. In addition to this low-profile bracket, the card includes a pre-mounted standard-size bracket, which simplifies physical installation into classic ATX cases without the need to purchase additional accessories.
Reduced processor load
To optimise overall computer performance, the AXAGON PCEE network card uses TCP/UDP, IPv4 checksum, and IPv6 IP/TCP and IP/UDP checksum offload hardware offloading technologies. These functions effectively take over the processing of network headers directly on the card's hardware, which significantly saves the computational power of the main computer processor, allowing it to fully dedicate itself to other tasks and applications.
Optimised for audio-visual transmissions
For demanding media streaming, the AXAGON PCEE network card stabilises the data flow by supporting the IEEE 802.1Qav and IEEE 802.1BA standards. These specifications are designed to route and queue time-sensitive streams, which in practice improves the synchronisation, reliability, and latency of audio-visual transmissions on the network. This results in smoother playback and low latency for AV streams.

The AXAGON PCEE network card saves energy through the IEEE 802.3az-2010 Energy Efficient Ethernet standard, which reduces power consumption in an idle state when there are no data transfers. For easy remote computer management, the AXAGON PCEE network card offers full support for booting from the PXE network and the Wake-on-LAN function in several different modes. Network administrators can use remote computer wake-up via Magic Packet or the ECMA-393 proxZzzy standard for managing network connections of sleeping hosts using proxy servers, which expands the management options for workstations in a corporate infrastructure.
