Belohair 50 mg/ml skin solution, 60 ml
Belohair 50 mg/ml is a skin solution with the active ingredient minoxidil, intended for the treatment of hormone-induced hair loss (alopecia) in men aged 18 to 65 years. It is applied directly to the affected areas of the scalp twice a day, with the first results observed after two months or more of regular use. The greatest efficacy is expected in younger men with lesser and more recent baldness.
Dosage
Belohair is applied twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, always in a quantity of 1 ml of solution, which corresponds to 10 squeezes of the dosing pump. The solution is applied to the dry scalp directly on the affected area, ideally from the centre of the scalp. The total daily dose should not exceed 2 ml. When applying with fingers, wash hands thoroughly after application. Regular use is essential even after new hair has appeared, as hair loss can occur again if treatment is discontinued. The first results can usually be expected after two months; treatment should continue for at least four months and up to a year - if the effect is not apparent by then, it is recommended to stop treatment.
Contraindications
Belohair must not be used by people who are allergic to minoxidil or any of the other ingredients in the product. It is not intended for women as it may cause unwanted hair growth. Use is not recommended for people with treated or untreated hypertension (high blood pressure) and those with broken or irritated scalp, including sunburn or skin conditions such as psoriasis. A shaved scalp is also a contraindication, as it increases the absorption of the active substance and thus the risk of side effects. The product should not be combined with other topical scalp preparations or applied under impermeable dressings. It is not recommended for use in persons under 18 years of age and over 65 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently established in these groups.
Notice
Belohair should only be applied to a healthy and intact scalp. Not suitable for women, people with high blood pressure, heart disease, damaged or shaved scalp. Skin irritation, burning or redness may occur with use; in this case, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. The solution must not come into contact with eyes, mucous membranes or injured skin - in case of contact, wash thoroughly with cold water. Wash hands after application and avoid inhaling or ingesting the product, which could cause serious side effects. Excessive or more frequent use does not increase effectiveness, but may increase the risk of side effects. Children should not come into contact with the treated areas to avoid the risk of unwanted hair growth.
Storage
Keep Belohair out of the sight and reach of children. It does not require any special storage conditions, normal room temperature is sufficient. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after the words "Use by:", where the date refers to the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of unused or expired product in general waste or down the drain - consult your pharmacist for a suitable disposal methour In this way, you will contribute to the protection of the environment.
