The Berdsen BD-101 non-contact thermometer provides fast and hygienic measurement of body temperature on the forehead. Using infrared technology, you get a result in a single second, which is especially useful when taking a child's temperature. In addition to body temperature in the range of 34–43°C, the thermometer can also measure the surface temperature of objects. The device measures with a deviation of ±0.1°C and has an ergonomic grip for comfortable handling.

Use and results

Operating the thermometer is intuitive. After taking a measurement, the result appears on the backlit display, and its colour helps you interpret the reading. A green backlight indicates a normal temperature, yellow indicates a raised temperature, and red indicates a fever. The memory for 30 readings lets you track temperature changes over time. When taking a child's temperature, you'll appreciate that the audible signal can be completely turned off. The device is powered by two AAA batteries, and an indicator alerts you when they are running low.
