Baby cries and is not soothed - infant colic afflicts almost every third baby and is frustrating even for his parents. Unfortunately, the cause of infant colic has not yet been fully elucidated, but it is partly due to an imbalance in the gut microbiota of babies.
When a baby cries, it is important not to leave them alone. You should try all the recommended methods to calm the baby - postures, rocking, relief positions (e.g. "tiger", when the baby lies on your forearm on the tummy), white noise or tight wrapping in a swaddle. The microbiota of babies with colic has an unbalanced ratio of beneficial and harmful bacteria. Probiotics as L. reuteri Protectis® may help to increase the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut. The symptoms of colic are usually worst between the 6th and 8th week of life, but it is advisable to start replenishing the gut microbiota earlier - from birth.
The first 1000 days
Our tip: You can start taking care of your baby's microbiota within the "first 1000 days", i.e. from the moment of conception to the second year of life, by taking probiotics with L. reuteri Protectis® will be used during pregnancy.

Dosage:
5 drops once a day. 1 dose (5 drops) contains at least 100 million live L. reuteri Protectis®
Ingredients:
Sunflower oil, probiotics L. reuteri DSM 17938, fully hydrogenated rapeseed oil.
Manual
- Shake well for 10 seconds before use.
- Squeeze the tube gently and drip 5 drops onto a spoon, onto the breast (if breastfeeding), add to a feeding bottle or into food.
- Do not add to hot food or beverages (more than 37°C) and do not administer from the tube directly into the mouth
