Materials and thoughtful maintenance
The base of the box is a container made of durable 304/18-8 stainless steel. This material does not absorb odours or tastes and also lets you use the container (without the lid) for baking food in the oven. Watertightness is ensured by the combination of a silicone seal and a strap that holds the lid firmly in place. To create a vacuum for an even better seal, there is a silicone valve for easy opening. Maintenance is simple – you can safely put the stainless steel container and the divider in the dishwasher. The manufacturer recommends washing the lid with its silicone seal, the valve, and the strap by hand to maintain their long-term functionality.
