Quiet and efficient motor
The SilentPowerDrive is a powerful motor that ensures the hood runs extremely quietly. The motor is very strong when extracting steam and odours, while remaining pleasantly quiet.
Smart Hood Automatic
You can easily connect the BOSCH DWK87FN60 Serie 4 cooker hood to the Home Connect app, where you might already have a compatible hob. These two smart elements can then communicate with each other – the hood adjusts its power according to the hob's power level. This lets you enjoy cooking with fresh air all around you. No more manual adjustments needed.
BOSCH DWK87FN60 Serie 4 cooker hood with DirectSelect control
The hood can be operated simply via the easy-to-read DirectSelect panel – switch between different power levels or set it to maximum power straight away. You can also easily switch the light on and off using the touch panel.
Customisable settings
Fine-tune the light above your hob to perfection. Whether you prefer bright, crisp light where you won't miss a thing, or a more subdued light that gently illuminates the dish you're preparing, we have the solution. The Temperature Light function lets you adjust the LED light from a pleasant warm to a crisp, cool white.
Amazon Alexa voice control
Got your hands full? No problem. Thanks to its integration with Amazon Alexa, you can control the hood simply with your voice. Check the availability of the "Home Connect" skill in your country and language, activate it in the Alexa app, and link your hood to your voice assistant. Cooking will be even more convenient.
Home Connect
Get the most out of your hood by connecting it to the Home Connect app. Monitor the appliance's status remotely, adjust settings to your preferences, and take advantage of smart features from the Home Connect ecosystem. For example, the app will notify you when it's time to clean or replace the filters, so your appliance always performs at its best.
Intensive setting with automatic revert
When you're frying or steaming rapidly, an instant power boost comes in handy. The intensive setting function activates maximum extraction and then automatically returns to the normal mode – without you needing to do a thing. This lets you fully concentrate on your cooking.

What does quality for generations from Bosch mean?
The Bosch brand is committed to not disappointing the trust of its customers. The price of the product includes a guaranteed availability of spare parts for 15 years*, an extensive service network of professionals, and both warranty and post-warranty service that 90% of customers would recommend.**
*Provided the repair is functionally relevant and the parts can be stored. Applies to appliances manufactured after 1 January 2023.
**Based on an NPS survey in 2025, where 90% of a total of 3450 respondents in the Czech Republic and Slovakia stated they were satisfied with BSH customer services.
What all do I need for recirculation?
You need a carbon (odor) filter and a recirculation kit, which includes a deflector and connecting ducts.
Can the hob be connected for recirculation?
Yes, hobs with integrated extraction can be adapted to work in recirculation mode.
Can I use a 60 cm hood over an 80 cm hob?
This isn't recommended — the hood should be at least as wide as the hob, ideally wider.
How long can the ducting be for external extraction?
Ideally no more than 4–5 meters, and each 90° bend effectively reduces the usable reach by about 1–1.5 meters.
Is a backdraft damper included in the package?
It depends on the model — included with some, sold separately for others.
Does the hood have a filter clean/replace alert?
Only certain, generally higher-end models offer this, with an indicator that shows when filters are saturated.
Is it possible to connect the hood with the hob?
Yes, as long as both appliances support the same wireless technology, Home Connect.
