Energy efficiency class A
Bosch fridge freezers combine the highest energy efficiency and exceptionally quiet operation in class A. They deliver reliable performance, optimal conditions for food storage and stand out for their low noise levels in daily operation.
Glossy back wall with Multi Airflow
Uneven cooling can negatively affect the taste and shelf life of food. Bosch refrigerators with Multi Airflow technology ensure an even distribution of moisture and temperature throughout the entire space – from the door compartments to the back corners. Your food stays fresh and tasty for longer.
Climate-controlled drawers keep food fresh for longer
The spacious VitaFresh XXL drawers in the BOSCH KGN392I1F Serie 4 refrigerator offer plenty of space and the ideal storage environment for all your fresh food. Fish and meat stay fresh for longer at a temperature close to <0°C>. Fruit and vegetables retain all their vitamins thanks to the optimal humidity in the drawer.
No more defrosting or water drops on the back of the fridge
With Total No Frost technology, you don't need to defrost the freezer regularly. The system removes moisture and keeps the air dry, which limits the formation of frost on the freezer walls and on your food. The same principle also works in the fridge compartment, where it helps prevent water droplets and ice from forming on the back wall. This makes maintenance easier and helps the appliance maintain its high energy efficiency.
Noise Class A (≤ 29dB)
Say goodbye to noise – Bosch Noise Class A fridges operate extremely quietly, with a noise level of just 29dB. Ideal for open-plan spaces and undisturbed peace. Experience the silence that brings comfort.
Place your BOSCH fridge wherever you need it
The BOSCH KGN392I1F Serie 4 fridge has been designed so you can place it absolutely anywhere. The PerfectFit technology allows you to position the fridge as you wish, for example, next to a side wall or directly against furniture, with no gap required. You are no longer limited by a lack of space. The BOSCH KGN392I1F Serie 4 fridge is particularly suitable for those who don't want a built-in fridge but wish to make the best use of their kitchen unit space.
An alarm warns you if the door is left open
If you forget to close the fridge door or don't close it fully, you will be alerted by a light and an acoustic signal after a short time. The BOSCH KGN392I1F Serie 4 will let you know in the same way if any other error occurs.
Modern and energy-saving LED lighting in the BOSCH fridge
The LED lighting ensures even illumination of the fridge's interior. Compared to standard bulbs, it consumes less energy and has a longer lifespan.
2 separate cooling circuits
The freezer and fridge sections in the BOSCH combination fridge each have their own circuit. This means the temperature can be set individually.
The fridge quickly reaches the right temperature
Activating the SuperCooling or SuperFreezing function will very quickly cool/freeze food that has just been placed in the BOSCH KGN392I1F Serie 4 appliance. The function prevents food already in the fridge from warming up, ensuring it stays fresh for longer.

Is it possible to change the door opening direction on the refrigerator?
Yes, on most models it is possible to change the door opening direction. We recommend consulting the user manual for your specific appliance for instructions or contacting an authorized service center.
Can the refrigerator be transported lying down?
Transporting the refrigerator lying down is not recommended as it can damage the compressor. If it is necessary, let the refrigerator stand upright for at least 24 hours after transport before plugging it in.
The new refrigerator has warm side walls after starting. Is that normal?
Yes, this is normal. The condenser, which dissipates heat from the inside of the refrigerator, is integrated into the side walls, causing them to heat up.
The new refrigerator does not have fins (evaporator, condenser) on the back wall from the outside, but some kind of cardboard. Should we remove this cardboard?
No, do not remove this cover. It is often made of a sturdy material resembling cardboard and serves as protection and insulation for the back of the appliance.
The compressor/motor of the new refrigerator turns on very frequently and for a long time. Is that normal?
Yes, with new refrigerators, especially those with an inverter compressor, it is common for them to run longer initially to reach the set temperature. Modern compressors can operate for longer periods at lower power.
There is a plastic tube covered with tape on the compressor of the new refrigerator. Should I remove it?
No, do not remove the plastic wrap, tape, or any other protective elements on components that are not explicitly marked for removal after transport. To be sure, check the installation manual.
There is a large amount of moisture in the vegetable drawer (or under the vegetable drawer) of the refrigerator, or a large amount of water is forming in this area.
Check if the drain hole at the back of the refrigerator is clogged. Increased moisture can also be caused by storing unwashed or unwrapped vegetables.
What is the difference between No Frost and Low Frost?
No Frost technology completely prevents ice buildup in the freezer through air circulation, so it never needs to be defrosted. Low Frost technology significantly reduces ice formation, but occasional manual defrosting is still necessary.
Is it possible to adjust the temperature for the freezer?
Yes, on most combination refrigerators, the freezer temperature can be adjusted independently of the cooling section. The optimal temperature for the freezer is -18°C.
Why does the refrigerator activate the Supercooling and Superfreezing functions on its own?
Some models may activate these functions automatically after the door has been open for an extended period or when a large amount of new food is added, in order to quickly restore the optimal temperature.
Water is dripping down the back wall in the cooling compartment. Is that normal?
Yes, this is part of the automatic defrost cycle. The water runs down into a drain hole and evaporates. Make sure the drain hole is not clogged.
Why does the Alarm beep and flash after connecting the new refrigerator? Is it an error?
This is not an error. The alarm indicates that the internal temperature has not yet reached the set level. Once the refrigerator cools down sufficiently, the alarm will turn off automatically.
The Alarm is flashing on the refrigerator, but the temperature inside the refrigerator has not changed.
The alarm can also indicate other conditions, such as an open door or a power failure. Check the display for a specific error code and consult the manual.
After changing the door opening side, the fruit/vegetable drawers cannot be pulled out.
Check that the door is installed correctly and opens to a sufficient angle. The problem may also be due to improperly seated hinges.
Can oven trays fit in the refrigerator?
Standard baking trays do not fit into most regular refrigerators. Some premium models may have a special compartment or flexible layout that allows for this.
Is it possible to individually turn off the freezer/cooling compartment?
On some models, usually those with two compressors or special features, it is possible to temporarily deactivate one of the compartments. This is not typically possible on standard models.
How long should the appliance be left idle during transport?
After transport, especially if it was not kept upright, it is recommended to let the appliance stand idle for 4–6 hours, ideally up to 24 hours, before plugging it into the power outlet.
Can the shelves and drawers be removed when the door is open at a 90° angle?
On most models, the door must be opened more than 90° to comfortably remove the internal shelves and drawers. You can find precise information in the product's technical specifications.
