Citicoline (CDP-choline) is one of the most effective precursors of acetylcholine and phosphatidylcholine. For even better accessibility and more natural brain penetration, we used patented Witspower™, which is made from only natural sources. Acetyl-L-carnitine and Ginkgo biloba leaf extract provide increased blood circulation and support for cognitive function, memory and normal brain function¹.

CDP-choline (full name cytidine-5'-diphosphocholine) is an advanced, bioactive form of choline that has exceptionally good absorption and potency. In the body, CDP-choline is rapidly absorbed and broken down into two important substances:

What does this mean in practice? CDP-choline is a two-component formula capable of penetrating the blood-brain barrier into the brain.

CDP choline is one of the best absorbed forms and unlike the commonly available form of choline (synthetic choline bitartrate) passes the blood-brain barrier very well. The best for the most demanding users.

CDP-choline is easily broken down in the body into choline and cytidine. These two natural components of the body play an important role in the processes taking place directly in the brain cells. Choline is the basis for the synthesis of acetylcholine, an important neurotransmitter that ensures the transmission of signals between neurons. Cytidine is converted to CMP, further converted to UMP, which is used in the brain to form uridine. Together with choline, it is involved in the formation of phosphatidylcholine, the basic building block of neuronal cell membranes.
