Use of Canesten GYN 1 DEN
Canesten GYN 1 day soft vaginal capsule is suitable for girls from 16 years of age without consulting a doctor. It is also suitable for girls 12-15 years only on the recommendation of a doctor. The application is performed once, preferably in the evening before bedtime. The capsule is inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina using an applicator. During pregnancy, vaginal capsules should be introduced without the use of an applicator. Treatment with Canesten GYN 1 Day Soft Vaginal Capsule should not be done during menstruation. Tampons, vaginal rinses, spermicides, or other products intended for vaginal use should not be used at the same time as this product. Sexual intercourse should be avoided while using Canesten GYN 1 Day Soft Vaginal Capsule. The soft vaginal capsule should not be swallowed. Always follow the instructions for use of the medicine as given in the package leaflet.
Canesten product specifics
Clotrimazole may reduce the effectiveness and reliability of some latex contraceptives such as condoms and pessaries.
Ingredients
One soft vaginal capsule contains 500 mg of clotrimazole. Excipients: Capsule content: white petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin Gelatin capsule: gelatin, glycerol, purified water, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), orange yellow (E110), lecithin (E322), medium-chain triacylglycerols
Storage
Store at ≤ 30 °C, protect from light, keep out of the reach of children, do not dispose of after the expiry date and return the remaining quantity to the pharmacist.
