Increasing the focal length of powerful telephoto lenses
The EF 2x III teleconverter is specially designed to work with the powerful L-series IS telephoto lenses and increase their focal length by 2×. The design of the teleconverter preserves the performance and image quality of the lens.
High quality construction
Enhanced anti-reflective materials inside the lens body and improved surface treatment on the outer edges of the lens reduce the incidence of flare. Dust- and water-resistant design preserves image quality. Lenses with dust and moisture protection are equipped with a rubber seal on the bayonet, which can cause minor abrasions on the camera bayonet. However, this does not affect the functionality of the lens or the camera.
Built-in microprocessor for accurate data transfer and increased performance
A built-in microprocessor ensures accurate data transfer between the lens and camera. The result is higher autofocus and metering performance.The EF 2x III teleconverter is compatible with most of Canon's L-series telephoto and telephoto zoom lenses.
