The printer is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with the capacity to print approximately 330 pages when connected via USB. The battery can be charged using the power adapter or via USB-C. The device is designed for printing both documents and borderless photos up to A4 size. There is also an option to save up to five templates for faster repeat printing. The printer uses a FINE inkjet print head and the ChromaLife100 system. The maximum print resolution reaches 4800×1200 DPI. Print speed is approximately 9 ipm for black and white and 5.5 ipm for colour.
Unrestricted connection and control
The Canon MAXIFY BX110 supports wireless connectivity on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The Wireless Direct function enables printing without a router. Compatibility includes Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Chrome OS. Apple AirPrint, Mopria, Canon PRINT, Canon Print Service, and Cloud Link services are available. Integration with Amazon Alexa is also supported. Control is handled via the 1.44” OLED display. The display is used to check ink status, connection, and basic printer functions.
