High-quality printing and long photo life

Each colour has 256 shade levels, which corresponds to a 24-bit colour depth. After the three printing passes are complete, a protective finish is applied to the photograph. The prints have a lifespan of up to 100 years. It takes approximately 40 seconds to create a photograph. The technology is designed for printing vibrant and richly coloured images.
Wireless operation and creative possibilities
The printer communicates with compatible iOS and Android devices via Wi-Fi Direct. Printing is controlled through the SELPHY Photo Layout app. The app lets you add stamps, filters, borders, text, collages, frames, and customisable borders. The SELPHY QX20 supports printing on 72×85mm XS-20L square photo paper as well as on 54×85mm XC-20L and XC-60L photo paper. Both media types use a self-adhesive back for creative applications. The built-in battery allows you to print up to 20 sheets on a single charge. Charging is handled by the supplied USB Type-C power cable.
- Printers are usually supplied with a starter toner and/or cartridges with an approximate 60% capacity of regular cartridges which are available to purchase separately.
