The REXlink OBD2 is a vehicle GPS tracker with a backup battery, notable for its incredibly simple use—just plug it into the service OBD2 port. This port can be found in every petrol vehicle made since 2001 and in every diesel vehicle since 2003, usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side. This makes the REXlink OBD2 an ideal tool for location tracking for fleet management, monitoring company fleet movements, car hire services, locating stolen vehicles, and many other applications.
The REXlink OBD2 GPS tracker is supplied as a ready-to-use package containing everything you will need. It comes with an integrated SIM card, so as soon as you plug the unit in, you can see your vehicle's location in the REX Online app on your mobile phone or computer. There is no need to set anything up. Another advantage is the ability to view location history for up to one year back. In addition, the REXlink OBD2 has a motion sensor and can serve as a basic vehicle security system via the app. Simply secure the vehicle in the app, and you will receive an immediate notification if it moves. The mobile app is available for devices running Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad).
The tracker is provided with a one-month prepaid Dispatch service. An additional month of the service costs CZK 132 (incl. VAT). GPS positions are sent every 30 seconds and the service works throughout the EU (+ Norway and the United Kingdom). The price for the service includes everything; there is no need to pay extra or buy anything separately, including the SIM card, data transfers, app, and technical support. After the prepaid period expires, the service can be continued, changed, or cancelled. It is possible to upgrade to the higher Complete Tracking service for CZK 217 (incl. VAT), which also includes a logbook. Payment for services is made 3–6 months in advance (the interval can be adjusted).
