The EMPIRE KD hood has extractor units with a balanced turbine for efficient operation. The motors are protected against overheating by thermal fuses, which detect rising temperatures in time and stop the hood from running. As soon as it has cooled down sufficiently, the motors will automatically switch on again. You can safely put the practical metal grease filters in the dishwasher, and the EMPIRE KD hood can be used in either extraction or recirculation mode.
