The EMPIRE VD 208050 extractor hood units have an individually balanced turbine. The motors are equipped with resettable thermal fuses (if the motor overloads, it switches off, and once it cools down, it switches back on). The metal sandwich grease filters are dishwasher-safe. It also offers a recirculation mode – the hood is fitted with a carbon odour filter. In this mode, the filtered air is channelled out of the hood through a pipe that runs through the entire cabinet, similar to the extraction mode. However, the pipe does not lead into the wall with an elbow joint, but rather above the cabinet, where it is recommended to finish it with a grille. For cabinet construction, the dimensional drawing and the data provided in it are decisive.
