The panel's power rating indicates the maximum amount of energy the panel can produce under optimal conditions. It is usually measured under standard test conditions. It is a key indicator for comparing the performance of different solar panels.
The maximum current (Impp) indicates the highest current the panel can produce at the optimum point in its power curve. This parameter is important for the correct sizing of solar system components such as inverters and charge controllers.
The maximum voltage (Vmpp) is the voltage at which the solar panel reaches its maximum output. This figure is crucial for selecting the right inverter and other components of the solar system.
