CIARKO DESIGN T-LIGHT 90
The 90cm wide T-Light Black 90 designer chimney hood brings excellent performance, quiet operation, efficiency and convenience to your kitchen, all wrapped up in an elegant black painted finish. At the heart of the hood is a quiet and economical inverter motor that offers three power levels and a BOOST mode for maximum extraction with a performance of up to 705m³/h. Despite this, its noise level remains very low at a maximum of 62dB(A). Convenient touch-free gesture control and the included remote control provide easy and intuitive control of the hood. The T-Light Black boasts an annual energy consumption of only 29.6kWh and an A++ energy rating, making it one of the most economical hoods on the market. It is equipped with a large LED panel with adjustable light intensity. After installing an active carbon filter, the hood can also be operated in recirculation mode.

Gesture control
Instead of pressing buttons, flipping sliders or looking for the remote control, you can use a modern, intuitive and completely touch-free control system that lets you operate the hood with a few easy movements within range of the optical sensor. It also helps you keep the appliance clean, without smudges and fingerprints. The hood is equipped with a distinctive coloured LED that clearly informs you about its operation and the currently selected extraction power via its reflection on the glass hob (1-green; 2-blue; 3-purple; 4/Boost-red). To master the hood equipped with this function, you just need to remember three simple movements: 1. Hold your hand in front of the motion sensor for at least 2 seconds to turn the hood's LED lighting on or off. 2. Move your hand from left to right near the motion sensor to switch the hood on, and with each subsequent movement in the same direction, you gradually increase the extraction power. 3. Moving your hand from right to left will gradually decrease the extraction power until the hood is completely switched off.
Inverter motor and boost
Meet the new generation of inverter (also known as brushless or BLDC) motors, which are not only incomparably quieter and more economical than conventional carbon (or brushed) motors, but are also much more reliable. They are electronically controlled, which brings the highest possible operating efficiency, i.e. maximum performance with minimum energy consumption. In conventional motors equipped with carbon brushes, friction against the rotor causes them to wear out. In inverter motors, the classic carbon brushes are replaced by a rotor with magnets. This minimises the risk of mechanical wear and tear, and inverter motors will serve you long and reliably. The intensive extraction function, or boost, enables an immediate switch to maximum extraction power in case of an acute need to ventilate a higher concentration of fumes or odours.
Timer and anti-fingerprint surface
The delayed switch-off function lets you set a precise time for the hood to turn off, safely ventilating residual steam and odours at a low power setting after you have finished cooking. You can very easily and conveniently clean and refresh the air where the meal was prepared, ensuring pleasant and undisturbed dining. Ciarko Design introduces a unique anti-fingerprint painted surface on its hoods, which effectively resists ubiquitous dirt and grease. Ciarko Design hoods not only effectively extract steam and odours generated during cooking, but also help keep your kitchen elegantly clean. With hoods that meet the strictest quality and design standards, you get a reliable and durable product with a modern design.
Recirculation
In recirculation mode, the extracted air is not ducted out of the room but remains inside the living space. The hood draws in air polluted by fumes from cooking and frying and, after cleaning it, blows it back into the kitchen. In addition to the grease filter, a carbon filter must also be installed in the hood for recirculation mode. The extracted air first passes through the grease filters, which trap heavy grease particles, and then through activated carbon filters, which absorb odours. As the carbon filter wears, its surface can no longer fully bind the required amount of odour molecules and the filtration efficiency decreases over time. The carbon filter must therefore be replaced regularly.
Extraction
In extraction mode, all unwanted fumes, odours, grease particles and moisture generated during baking and cooking are ducted outside, away from the room and the building. The opening itself does not have to be located in the outer wall of the kitchen; the air can also be ducted through the roof or basement. In extraction mode, the hood draws fumes from the pot or pan and passes them through a grease filter (stainless steel or aluminium), which cleans the air of grease particles that would otherwise build up in the ducting system and be a source of unpleasant odours. The kitchen fumes, stripped of grease particles and containing only odour particles, eventually escape through an opening in the building's exterior as air ducted out of the house. With a correctly installed extraction version of the cooker hood, backdraught flaps in the outlet ducting should prevent outdoor air from flowing back into the building.
