The Cougar FV270 White PC case is the foundation for building gaming rigs and workstations. The case has an unconventional polyhedral shape with tempered glass, which eliminates distracting edges and opens up an unrestricted view of the installed components. The design effectively manages cooling with angled surfaces and fully supports modern motherboards with connectors on the back, simplifying cable management. Users can easily fit large graphics cards and powerful water cooling systems inside, while the raised front section allows for additional airflow from below to maintain stable temperatures.
The placement of fans on the angled surfaces directs airflow into uninterrupted streams. The raised front section opens up another axis for air intake from below, which fundamentally changes the cooling dynamics inside the chassis. This system efficiently supplies the graphics card and processor with fresh air and prevents heat buildup. Strategically placed filters protect sensitive components from dust buildup and extend the lifespan of your hardware. Users can easily remove and clean the filters, simplifying regular maintenance and preserving optimal airflow. A clean interior contributes to lower temperatures and quieter fan operation.
The interior accommodates graphics accelerators up to 420mm in length, which includes more powerful cards. Rotatable brackets give you the choice between horizontal and vertical card orientation. Ample space eliminates collisions with other components and simplifies hardware selection. The design supports formats up to E-ATX and is fully compatible with reverse cable routing systems like ASUS BTF or MSI Project Zero. A solid side panel hides all cabling on the back of the motherboard.
The I/O panel, located on the top, includes a modern USB-C port for high-speed data transfer. A pair of USB 3.0 ports along with a combo audio jack ensures easy connection of peripherals, external drives, or gaming headsets. Placing the panel on top makes it easier to access if the case is on the floor under a desk.
The internal layout includes an optional mounting platform designed for displaying figurines or other collectibles. This element turns the PC into a personal gallery, using the panoramic glass to showcase your favourite pieces effectively. The space inside the case not only serves the hardware but also allows for visual personalisation. Users have plenty of positions to install hard drives and fast SSDs. The chassis can hold up to four 2.5" drives or a combination of two 3.5" and two 2.5" drives for storing large amounts of data. The drive bays are positioned so that they do not interfere with the main airflow and are easily accessible.
