CyberPower OLS1000EA-DE

CyberPower OLS1000EA-DE
The CyberPower OLS1000EA-DE UPS provides comprehensive power protection for critical business infrastructure. As an online UPS with double-conversion technology, it continuously regenerates the input current and delivers a pure sine wave at the output. With a real power of 900W and an apparent power of 1000VA, this UPS is designed for servers, network elements, and data storage. Zero transfer time to battery mode eliminates the risk of downtime during a mains failure. At full load, it powers connected devices for 4 minutes, while at half load, this time extends to 11 minutes. This CyberPower UPS therefore provides enough time to safely shut down operations or switch to a backup generator.

Online double-conversion technology
This topology continuously regenerates the input power, creating a pure sine wave at the output and ensuring zero transfer time to battery. Unlike other power topologies, it completely isolates devices from mains fluctuations. This solution is crucial for sensitive electronics, such as servers, NAS storage, and surveillance systems, as it protects them from damage. The UPS also supports generator power, as it can handle less stable input voltage and frequency.
Efficient operation and management of the CyberPower OLS1000EA-DE UPS
ECO mode reduces energy consumption and heat production by bypassing the double conversion when the input power is stable. The colour LCD panel displays real-time operational status, including load, battery status, and event logs. The panel can also be used to directly configure the output voltage and other parameters. Smart Battery Management (SBM) optimises charging using a three-stage process, which prevents overcharging or undercharging and helps to extend battery life.
Comprehensive protection for connected devices
The unit includes overload protection, which automatically disconnects the output when limits are exceeded, as well as protection against power surges and spikes. The integrated EMI and RFI filter suppresses electromagnetic and high-frequency interference that could affect the performance of sensitive equipment. The Emergency Power Off (EPO) port is used for immediate shutdown of the unit in a crisis, such as a fire, and for connecting it to the server room's central security system.
UPS connectivity options
Two standard Schuko sockets and one IEC C13 socket, commonly used for servers and network switches, provide power for connected devices. For local management, a serial communication port is available for connecting to a computer and using the PowerPanel Business software. For remote network management, an optional RMCARD205 card can be added. This adds support for SNMP and HTTP protocols for monitoring and controlling the UPS via a web interface or a central monitoring system.
