The CyberPower OR1000ERM1U backup power uses the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is classified as the most basic form in case of a outage, since it switches to the internal battery for electric power. The line interactive UPS enhances the simpler off-line version of data line surge suppression to guard against dangerous surges and spikes.
