Diclofenac suppositories belong to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The active substance is diclofenac sodium, which reduces the symptoms of acute and chronic inflammation, reduces pain, swelling and fever. Pain relief can be achieved after a single administration, the anti-inflammatory effect is only apparent after higher doses administered over several days.
Without a doctor's recommendation, the product can be used to treat post-traumatic and post-surgical pain, headache, back and tooth pain, and menstrual pain.
On the advice of a doctor, Diclofenac suppositories are used to treat pain and swelling caused by rheumatic diseases with joint localization such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease), and various forms of extra-articular rheumatism (e.g. tendonitis, tendon sac or joint capsule, stiff shoulder, tennis elbow), then for the treatment of acute gout attacks, migraines and acute renal colic.
The preparation is intended for adults for insertion into the rectum.
The pack contains 12 suppositories.
Dosage and method of use
The suppository is designed to be inserted into the rectum after removal from the aluminium foil. The recommended daily dose is 100 mg (i.e. one suppository). Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, the suppository is usually inserted once a day, preferably at night. Do not use for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. If you do not feel better or feel worse within 3 days, consult your doctor.
Contraindications
The product is not intended for children! Do not take this product if you are allergic to diclofenac sodium or to any of the other ingredients in this product.

Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original packaging to protect the product from light. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and strip after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not use this product if you notice, for example, that it is. mechanically damaged inner packaging or visibly altered cone shape. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment the environment.
