What is psyllium fiber? Psyllium is a soluble fibre that is obtained from the purified seed coats of Indian plantain (Plantago ovata). It grows in Iraq, Pakistan, Australia and especially in India, where the raw material is of the highest quality. It's imported for you from here. Psyllium Dr. Popova increases its volume in the digestive tract up to 40 times. The gel thus formed absorbs the excess fluid and simply swells (by mechanical force like a piston) to siphon off harmful gases from the tract. Psyllicol is supplemented with a pleasant raspberry flavour, sweetened with stevia sweetener and is thus suitable for diabetics.

Recommended dosage:

Preparation of fiber Psyllium Dr. Popova is quite simple. Mix 1-2 teaspoons (2.5-5 g) of fiber in a glass of water (30 ml for every 1 g of psyllium) and drink thoroughly with another cup of liquid (min. 250 ml) - water, herbal tea, fruit juice, etc.

Maximum daily doses of Psyllium Dr. Popova (1 teaspoon = approx. 2.5 g):

A grown man:
5 teaspoons

Pregnant women:
1 teaspoon

Breastfeeding mothers:
1.5 teaspoons

Young children from 6 years old:
1 teaspoon

Use:

Ensure sufficient watering. The maximum daily dose is 5 teaspoons. The amount can be divided into several daily doses, which must be thoroughly drank. According to recent studies, 12-25 g of psyllium fiber can be taken daily. As this is a fibre that can bloat, a lower dosage is recommended.

Note:

It cannot be used in sudden (acute) abdominal episodes - intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, peritonitis, hernia, pancreatitis. Psyllium Dr. Popova should be taken at least 1 hour apart from other medications and dietary supplements. Psyllicol is a dietary supplement. Psyllium Dr. Popova is not addictive. It is free of dyes and preservatives. Gluten free. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of psyllium fiber. It is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. The product is not intended for children under 6 years of age.
