The Eaton UPS 3P Ellipse 550 IEC backup power supply with off-line topology is designed to protect the power supply of sensitive electronics in homes and small offices. It offers an apparent power of 550VA and a real power of 330W with an output power factor of 0.6. Thanks to its high efficiency of 97% at full load, it reduces energy loss and lowers operating costs. The backup time at half load is up to 7 minutes, which provides enough time to save your work and safely shut down systems during a longer power outage. At full load, it keeps devices running for 1 minute. The compact Tower design, measuring 263 × 81 × 235mm, makes it easy to integrate into any workspace.

Performance and efficiency
This UPS operates with off-line technology, which powers devices directly from the mains during normal operation and switches to battery power upon detecting an anomaly. This protects connected electronics from power outages, undervoltage and overvoltage. The input voltage is 230V by default, but it can be set in the range of 220V to 240V, with the unit supporting an input voltage from 184V to 264V, with an option to extend it to 161V to 284V. The high operating efficiency of 97% at full load reduces electricity consumption. Both input and output frequencies operate in the 50–60Hz range.
Battery management and protection
The off-line topology and integrated surge protection shield connected devices from power outages and voltage spikes. The operating conditions are set for a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C and relative humidity from 0 to 95% without condensation, confirming its reliability in typical office conditions.
Connectivity options
The unit offers four IEC C13 output sockets for connecting appliances. Three of these sockets provide both battery backup and surge protection, while the fourth socket serves as surge protection for less critical devices, such as printers. Two IEC Jumper sockets are also available for powering additional peripherals. The standard C14 connector provides the input connection. This UPS is compatible with Type E sockets.
