The Eaton 9PX 1500i RT2U UPS works with an on-line double-conversion topology and delivers an output of 1500VA, or 1500W. With a power factor of 1, it provides full power for modern IT loads. It uses a lithium-ion battery that can power connected devices for 10 minutes at full load. This UPS for servers continuously monitors the power status and protects sensitive electronics from all mains faults. The flexible 2U rack/tower design makes it easy to install in 19" server cabinets or use as a freestanding unit.

Topology and performance
The on-line double-conversion technology constantly regenerates the supply voltage, isolating connected devices from all network anomalies, and switches to battery with zero delay. The UPS operates with a high efficiency of 97.5%, which limits energy loss and waste heat generation. At a full load of 1500W, it provides a backup time of 10 minutes.
Battery and protection
The Eaton 9PX 1500i RT2U UPS uses a lithium-ion battery, which offers a longer lifespan and shorter recharging time compared to lead-acid batteries. Integrated protection circuits protect connected equipment from overvoltage and the battery from deep discharge. The cold start function lets you start the device directly from the battery, even without mains power available.
Management and connectivity
A clear graphical LCD shows detailed information about the UPS status, energy consumption measurements, and diagnostic data for local management and monitoring of operating states. Eaton Intelligent Power Manager software handles remote management and task automation, such as controlled system shutdowns. This software ensures efficient supervision of the entire system and enables remote control. An IEC C14 input connector powers the UPS itself. Eight IEC 320 C13 output sockets are available for connecting protected devices.
