Kickdown - automatic switching of driving mode
When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the vehicle automatically switches from CHILL to SPORT (or PLAID, if available). Within 2 seconds, you'll know the power of your Tesla firsthand.

Door handle control
Use the door handle to open the front trunk (frunk) or unlock/charge port. Just turn the handle of the front or rear door. Commander recognizes this action and takes the appropriate action.

Automatic door opening on approach
The function automatically opens the driver's door when you approach the car with your phone set as the key. The sensitivity of the function can be adjusted according to the Bluetooth signal strength of your phone.

Switching off the automatic high beams and wipers
When the autopilot is activated, the high beams and wipers are automatically switched on. With the Commander Gen2 unit, you can set the function to not turn them on when the autopilot is running. You can still switch on the main beam and wipers as you wish.
However, remember that the automatic high beams and wipers need the autopilot systems to function. You therefore use the forced shutdown action at your own risk.

The device automatically activates when connected to the vehicle and starts communicating with the vehicle system without any pairing. Selected models

For Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners built between 2019 and 2024, there is a version with wiring for installation in the rear of the vehicle under the centre armrest between the seats.
If you own a Model 3/Y from 2021+ or the new Model 3 Highland, the unit installs forward under the dash to the passenger door.
A special configuration with matching wiring and fittings is available for the Tesla Model S and Model X, designed to accommodate the different internal wiring of these models. It is installed in the front of the centre console under the main display.
We have not forgotten about the latest Juniper Model Y, which requires a new connector structure, so we offer this bundle prepared exactly to measure. Installs forward under the dashboard to the passenger door.
