FABER Galileo Linear A83 hob
FABER Galileo Linear A83 combines an integrated extractor hood with a black glass induction hob, which is equipped with four cooking zones. The appliance connects to a 230V mains supply and has an A+ energy rating. Measuring 83 × 52 × 23cm (W × D × H), it is designed to be integrated into a kitchen worktop cutout. The induction hob offers nine power levels plus a BOOST mode for rapidly increasing the power of the cooking zones. The Bridge Zone 1 function lets you link adjacent cooking zones for larger cookware. The built-in hood has a maximum extraction power of up to 600m³/h and a range of power levels that can be adapted to the intensity of your cooking. The controls are located in the centre of the hob, which means it doesn't take up any space above it after installation. The Power Management technology optimises the energy supply between the cooking zones. The appliance offers useful functions, such as automatic hood activation when a certain temperature is reached, the option of installing an external motor for almost silent operation, waterproof motor protection, and a residual heat indicator.

Booster function
The Booster function is used to quickly preheat a cooking zone to maximum power.
External motor
Lets you place the motor outside the kitchen, significantly reducing the noise level when the hood is in operation.
Timer
The timer lets you set a specific cooking zone to switch off automatically or use the minute minder, which sounds an alarm after the set time has elapsed.
Power Management
The electronic Power Management control monitors the electricity supply and optimises the power distribution between the individual cooking zones.
Bridge Zone 1
The Bridge function links two adjacent cooking zones into one larger area, which is ideal for using large cookware such as roasting pans or griddle plates.
Automatic start
A special sensor automatically starts the extraction when a certain temperature (35°C) is reached above the hob.
Maximum hood performance
A boost in performance can eliminate large amounts of steam in a few minutes.
Slider control
The touch slider control enables smooth and precise power adjustment for individual cooking zones, with an emphasis on comfort and clarity.
