Connect the cooker hood to a heat recovery system

The REMOTE BLOWER system allows you to convert the cooker hood into a motorless one and use the original motor to create an external ventilation unit (EVJ), which can be placed in a utility room, a technical room, or the attic. It can also be connected to a VILPE external roof ventilation unit, which is available in multiple colour options, or to a MISTRAL external motor on the facade. In these cases, the technical parameters of the cooker hood are identical to those of the selected external ventilation unit. In all these scenarios, all the cooker hood's functions are retained, operation becomes silent, and if connected directly to a heat recovery system, the house can be certified as passive. 

Enjoy a perfectly illuminated worktop

Perimeter aspiration, together with an auxiliary suction zone at the bottom of the hood, ensures all steam is captured effectively. The touch controls offer three speed levels, an intensive extraction function, and a delayed switch-off for after you've finished cooking. Your work area will be perfectly illuminated by two LED bulbs with a light spectrum similar to daylight. The package includes a telescopic stainless steel chimney; for recirculation mode, a recirculation kit and a set of carbon filters must be ordered separately.

Prevent heat loss

The Delayed switch-off function allows the hood to turn off automatically 30 minutes after cooking has finished, ensuring a complete exchange of air in the kitchen and the removal of all residual steam. For cooker hoods marked with the Remote Blower icon , the motor can be placed externally, outside the kitchen. This results in almost silent operation. A cooker hood connected to a heat recovery system prevents heat loss. In the winter months, the heat recovery system captures up to 90% of the heat that would otherwise be wasted, meeting the conditions for a house to be certified as passive. The system combines the advantages of extraction mode (air exchange) and recirculation mode (prevention of heat loss). The extractor is supplied without a motor, with an additional filter that enables direct connection to the heat recovery system. 

Intelligent performance

The increased extractor power can be activated by pressing a button from any speed. It is intended for short-term use. After 10 minutes, the appliance automatically switches back to the speed from which the function was activated. The auxiliary suction zone on the lower part of flat or angled extractors prevents possible steam condensation in this area. LED lighting creates a strong, sharp light source by combining excellent light distribution over the cooking zone with a pleasant, relaxing intensity. Energy consumption is also very low, at just 2W. Air is drawn in through a narrowed profile around the perimeter of the suction zone. This significantly increases its flow speed and ability to draw in surrounding steam (Venturi effect). The panel covering the suction zone prevents noise from the ventilation unit from travelling back into the kitchen, reducing perceived noise by 25%. Thanks to new technology, turbulence and air vortices in the motor area have been reduced. This has successfully lowered the noise level and improved the sound quality of the cooker hood.
