The detector is equipped with a test button that allows you to verify the functionality of the device. The Sleep Easy feature allows you to repeatedly silence the low battery alert for up to 9 hours. Power is provided throughout its 10-year life by a built-in lithium battery that is automatically activated when the detector is placed in the mounting bracket. The bracket is included in the package and allows the device to be mounted on the ceiling or wall. The FireAngel SCB10 is very easy to install and maintain and is very reliable.
