The Format1 OVK2 descaler is suitable for less calcareous water. Designed for plastic pipe sections up to 2". It enables magnetic water treatment, which is ideal especially in places where limescale formation and deposition occurs. The magnetic treatment helps to reduce the formation of calcium salt deposits on the inside of the pipe. It does not directly affect the chemical composition of the water, but changes the physical properties of the water and the physico-chemical forms of the substances contained. The calcium carbonate molecules change their structure, but do not settle on the pipe walls, but fall out as a fine suspension.

Format1 OVK2 is installed on the supply pipe behind the water meter
The Format1 OVK2 descaler is installed on the supply pipe to the house or apartment behind the water meter in front of the boiler. It is advisable to have at least 15 cm of free water pipe to install the cable. Wrap the cable loosely around the pipe several times and secure the first thread with a tightening strap. You then wrap the cable around the pipe, thread by thread, creating a coil with at least 14 turns. Secure the last thread with the second tightening tape.
Operation of Format1 OVK2 is indicated by LED
Plug the banana cable into the sockets on the side of the Format1 OVK2 descaler. Then plug the power adapter connector into the socket on the back of the device. Place the remover in a suitable place near the coil or attach it with adhesive strips to the pipe or other place. After plugging the adapter into the socket, the Format1 OVK2 descaler is installed. Its correct function is indicated by a flashing LED.
