FRANKE FMA 839 HI

FRANKE FMA 839 HI
The FRANKE FMA 839 HI is a combined appliance that merges an induction hob with an integrated extractor hood. The induction hob features four cooking zones, two of which can be bridged to conveniently heat larger cookware. Induction technology is popular due to its very fast heating, low energy consumption, high level of safety, and intuitive operation. The hob's surface is made of durable glass with an elegant black finish. The appliance measures 830 × 520 × 230mm (W × H × D), making it particularly suitable for larger kitchen worktops. It offers nine heating levels and a range of practical features, such as a child lock, a melting function, a timer, and a Booster function. The integrated extractor hood, with a suction power of up to 700m³/h, has eight power levels and two intensive settings. The filter saturation indicator alerts you when it needs to be replaced. It is operated via a built-in touch panel with a red LED light and a Slide-type controller. It requires professional installation by an electrician (230/400V).

How the induction hob works
The FRANKE FMA 839 HI induction hob operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. An electric current passes through an induction coil, creating a magnetic field that generates an eddy current at the bottom of suitable cookware. This causes the pot or pan to heat up directly, while the surrounding surface remains relatively cool. This makes cooking fast, energy-efficient, and safe. Two litres of water can be brought to the boil in approximately four minutes.
