Fresubin Renal is complete high-calorie (2kcal/ml) liquid nutrition with a reduced protein and electrolyte content for the dietary management of malnutrition or risk of malnutrition-related disease. It is particularly suitable for patients with chronic kidney disease or non-catabolic forms of acute kidney injury. It can be used as a supplement or a complete meal replacement by sipping or tube feeding. It contains fish oil, carbohydrates from modified starch, and isomaltulose. The drink is low in lactose, and is fibre-free and gluten-free.

Fresubin Renal is particularly suitable for patients:
- With chronic kidney disease or reduced kidney function
- With non-catabolic forms of acute kidney injury
- In pre-dialysis
Dosage
Must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's needs. As a supplement to a regular diet, take 2–3 bottles (800–1,200kcal) daily. For complete nutrition, take 5 bottles (2,000kcal) daily. Use for at least 2 weeks.
💊 Instructions for Use
Store at room temperature. Once opened, consume within 24 hours. It tastes best chilled, but can also be served at room temperature or warmed (up to a maximum of 50°C).
- Shake before use
- Sip in small amounts between main meals as a snack or before bed as a second supper
- Combine sipping with a favourite activity, such as reading the newspaper or watching a favourite show.
- When administering via a tube, do not mix with medicines.
- Not for parenteral (intravenous) use!
