The FSP Fortron NP5-B air cooler dissipates heat from processors with a thermal output of up to 200W. Its design is based on four copper heatpipes that make direct contact with the processor, rapidly transferring heat to the aluminium heatsink. A fan with automatic PWM control provides active airflow. Broad support includes Intel LGA 1200, 1700, 1851 and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. Thanks to the compact depth of the heatsink, the cooler does not interfere with the space for RAM. This ensures full compatibility with high-profile memory modules in all motherboard slots.
The cooler's base contains four copper heatpipes with Anti-Gravity technology. This solution maintains high heat transfer efficiency regardless of the cooler's orientation. Even when installed vertically in a computer case, there is no reduction in cooling performance. The dense aluminium fins dissipate heat from the heatpipes.
A fan with anti-vibration pads in the corners provides active cooling. These limit the transfer of vibrations to the heatsink and reduce operating noise. With automatic PWM speed control ranging from 800–1600RPM, the fan adapts its performance to the current processor load.
