The FSP UPS CHAMP 1K Schuko backup power supply in a tower design offers on-line double-conversion power, providing stable protection for sensitive equipment. This device has an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 900W. The unit's compact dimensions of 220 × 145 × 282mm and weight of 9.8kg make it easy to place in any work environment. The current status and operating parameters are shown on a clear LCD display on the front panel. The accompanying software enables remote monitoring of the battery status and allows you to set up an automatic safe shutdown for all connected systems. To communicate with a computer or server, the backup power supply uses a USB interface and an RS-232 serial port, which are complemented by a built-in intelligent SNMP slot for installing additional cards.

Topology and stable performance
This power supply uses a double-conversion topology that completely isolates connected devices from fluctuations in the mains supply. The wide input voltage range of 120V to 300V reduces the need to switch to battery power, which extends its lifespan. The output power factor of 0.9 ensures efficient power for demanding loads, while the integrated microprocessor controller constantly checks the stability of the entire system. An energy-saving ECO mode and a special converter mode are also available.
Battery and connectivity
Two 12V batteries with a capacity of 9Ah ensure power delivery and provide a pure sine wave in battery mode. The typical time to charge to 90% capacity is 4 hours. For long-runtime models, the charging current can also be increased to 6A. The rear panel is equipped with three Schuko output sockets that provide backup power for connected devices and protect them against surges. The UPS is powered from the mains via an IEC C14 input connector, which ensures a safe and reliable power supply to the unit.
