Benefits of Pre-Orders:
Shock Troopers Neogeo delivers frenetic top-down action and is one of the most intense shooters in the NEOGEO AES+ catalogue. You will lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission against the terrorist group Bloody Scorpion and must handle the constant pressure from enemies.
The emphasis on character selection and their abilities gives Shock Troopers Neogeo a distinct strategic dimension. Every decision affects the course of the mission and requires quick reactions and precise coordination during combat.
High replayability makes Shock Troopers Neogeo an ideal choice for fans of pure action. The constant challenge and dynamic pace force you to improve your reflexes and find an effective path to victory.
WEAPONS
Tactical freedom comes from a choice of eight unique mercenaries, each with their own arsenal of heavy weapons and special abilities. Shock Troopers Neogeo allows you to adapt your play style to the situation and combine speed, power, and special attacks. The multi-directional firing system allows you to fire in eight directions while moving, so you can dodge and attack simultaneously while maintaining full control of the battlefield.
ENVIRONMENTS
Progress through the campaign is not limited to a single path, as Shock Troopers Neogeo offers branching routes through mountains, jungles, or valleys. You will encounter different enemies, environments, and boss fights depending on the chosen route, which significantly increases the variability of each playthrough. Each mission requires a different approach and forces you to use the abilities of your chosen characters to their full potential.
MODES
The choice of game mode fundamentally affects the pace and strategy that Shock Troopers Neogeo offers. Lonely Wolf mode will test your survival skills with a single character, while Team Battle allows you to assemble a team of three fighters and switch between them in real-time depending on the situation. The two-player cooperative mode offers the opportunity to go through the entire campaign together and combine your arsenals against enemy units.
DESTRUCTION
The visual design emphasises the dynamics of combat thanks to detailed sprites and environments that react to every shot and explosion. Running on original hardware, Shock Troopers Neogeo offers smoothness, fast response, and striking effects that underscore the chaos on the battlefield. You'll see object destruction and immediate reactions to every hit, which enhances the intensity of the action.
