Giffard Caramel Syrup is made from pure beet sugar from French sugar beets grown in the north of France. It is obtained by cooking sugar at a high temperature, creating an authentic, strong caramel flavour with subtle roasted and nutty notes. The syrup has an amber colour with golden highlights and a rich aroma of warm caramel with a slight acidity from the cooked sugar. It is perfect for hot drinks (coffee, hot chocolate, lattes), but also for cocktails where it adds depth and sweet intensity.
