The D 1000 Diamond Grinding Wheel is designed for grinding smooth wheels which, when sharpened, cut through a sheet of paper without chattering or teeth. Just place it on the electric slicer in the food holder and sharpen according to the instructions. Diamond blade sharpener for all Graef slicers except the Graef P9. The Graef D 1000 is used for sharpening smooth cutting wheels with a diameter of 17 cm.

Use:
Clean the cutting wheel. Fully open the stop on the food holder Place the sharpener on the slicer base and push it upwards against the stop. Slide the food holder with the sharpener attached towards the cutting disc until the cutting disc is in the sharpener. Switch on the device. Gently slide the food holder with the sharpener against the cutting disc. After starting the slicer, using the back of the sharpener, sharpen the face of the cutting disc. In the second step of the sharpening procedure, use a blade finish and polish. Push the small plastic arm with the small diamond insert lightly against the cutting blade. Switch on the device. Start to flatten the blade shape and polish it. Repeat the sharpening and polishing process several times until the blade is so sharp that it easily cuts through the sheet of paper.
