The album was recorded between December 2004 and February 2005 at several studios in the United Kingdom. It is the band's eighth studio album and the first to feature drummer Gavin Harrison. Steven Wilson produced the album, and Andy Wallace mixed it. It was released on CD, double vinyl, and DVD-Audio. The album was both a commercial and critical success, reaching number 11 on the UK Albums Chart and number 73 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's title refers to the fictional character Deadwing from the concept album In Absentia, which the band released in 2004. Wilson wrote the album's lyrics and co-composed the music with Harrison.

LP Record On 24th May this year, the Seoul-based global pop group NCT 127 released their new EP, NCT #127 WE ARE SUPERHUMAN, which includes the current hit 'Superhuman' alongside five explosive new tracks. The record highlights the band's willingness to experiment with trap and hip-hop elements while incorporating Latin American influences into their songs. Kaipa: Kaipa LTD
LP Record There's no doubt that Kaipa was Sweden's number one progressive rock band in the 1970s. However, looking back, the band's high status is certainly also due to the major international reputation now enjoyed by Roine Stolt (Transatlantic, The Flower Kings, Steve Hackett Band), the guitarist from the original 1975 lineup. With his band "The Flower Kings", he played a key role in putting prog rock back on the map in the 1990s and 2000s. Furthermore, under the leadership of founding member, keyboardist, singer, and main songwriter Hans Lundin, Kaipa has been more productive than ever since 2002, releasing a total of seven internationally successful albums. From the band's beginnings in the mid-70s, Kaipa has always been Hans Lundin's brainchild.
Ella Fitzgerald: Mack The Knife, Ella In Berlin Ltd Clr
LP Record Ella Fitzgerald's visit to Berlin comes in the middle of her long series of "Songbook" recordings, for which she collaborated with top orchestras led by Buddy Bregman, Nelson Riddle, Bill Doggett, Marty Paich, Frank DeVol and others. However, it seems plausible that her outstanding vocal abilities shine brightest in a small group setting. This also meant that musicians like pianist Paul Smith, with whom she also recorded "The Intimate Ella" at the time, were always in her shadow. Guitarist Jim Hall is better known for his own work, while bassist Wilfred Middlebrooks and drummer Gus Johnson combine the virtues of flexible swing and tight rhythmic control.

Born Of Osiris: The Simulation CLR
LP Record Born Of Osiris's 2019 album, The Simulation, is an excellent album. It features a lot of great songs. My favourite song on the album is "The Accursed". It's a fantastic song – very heavy, with a brilliant guitar solo. I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes metal music.
Blood Orange: Negro Swan
LP Record Producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer and songwriter Devonté Hynes returns with his fourth album as Blood Orange. Raised in England, Hynes started out as a punk in the British band Test Icicles before releasing two orchestral, acoustic pop records as Lightspeed Champion. In 2011, he released Coastal Grooves, the first of three solo albums under the name Blood Orange. His last album, Freetown Sound, a deeply personal document about life as a Black person in America, was critically acclaimed in 2016, and Hynes was recognised as one of the most significant musical voices of his time. Comparisons have been made to Kendrick Lamar and D'Angelo.
