It is the band's first album to feature Phil Anselmo on vocals since the 1994 album Far Beyond Driven. The album was produced by Terry Date and Pantera. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 119000 copies in its first week in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified it platinum for shipping one million copies in the United States. Three singles were released from the album: "The Great Southern Trendkill", "War Nerve", and "Suicide Note Pt. II". The Great Southern Trendkill was highly praised by music critics.
Deftones: Koi No Yokan
LP Record - For the album "Koi No Yokan", Deftones once again teamed up with their trusted producer Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Rush) in his Los Angeles studio. LP Record - The hottest contender for pop album of the year
Surprise: Beyoncé returns in 2016 with a new album. And although no single or promotional campaign was released beforehand, and there was almost no hint of "Lemonade"'s release, it's highly likely to be the biggest pop album of the year – at least if you believe the media. They've already praised "Lemonade" to the heavens.
The reasons are clear. Firstly, Beyoncé's sixth solo album is another so-called visual album. The singer has created a roughly hour-long film to accompany the twelve songs. The video, in which Beyoncé demolishes an entire street with a baseball bat, among other things, features various poetic verses, such as those from Somali poet Warsan Shire. The film was directed by Mark Romanek and Jonas Åkerlund.
Soundgarden: Badmotorfinger
LP Record Badmotorfinger is the third studio album by American rock band Soundgarden, released on 8th October 1991 through A&M Records. After touring in support of their previous album, Louder Than Love (1989), Soundgarden began working on the Badmotorfinger album in early 1991. The album was recorded in several studios across Seattle and Los Angeles with producer Terry Date. Badmotorfinger marked a significant stylistic shift for Soundgarden, as the band began experimenting with alternative rock and grunge. The album spawned three singles: "Jesus Christ Pose", "Outshined", and "Rusty Cage". "Jesus Christ Pose" and "Outshined" were nominated for Grammy Awards in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
