ACI self-vulcanizing insulating tape 25 mm x 5 m black
ACI insulating tape is a self-amalgamating aid for repairs and sealing. Thanks to its polyisobutylene composition, it creates a strong, waterproof bond after application without the need for adhesive. The tape has a dielectric strength of at least 14kV/mm, making it suitable for use in electrical engineering. It is ideal for maintaining cars, motorbikes, boats and caravans, but also for use around the home.

Self-amalgamating technology and use
The principle of self-amalgamating tape lies in its ability to bond into a single mass without adhesive. When applying, you must stretch the tape to activate its self-amalgamating property. After wrapping and pressing together, the individual layers fuse to create a waterproof and airtight seal. With an elongation of at least 300%, the tape easily adapts to irregular shapes and ensures a tight seal. It maintains its properties at operating temperatures from 5 to 95°C.
