BOSCH Twist Speed 3.2mm Drill Bit for Metal

The Bosch HSS Twist Speed PointTeQ spiral drill bit is designed for drilling into alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Its self-centring PointTeQ tip makes it easy to start drilling without prior centre-punching. The drill bit is made from high-speed steel (HSS) in accordance with DIN 338. A black oxide-coated flute aids chip removal, while the highly elastic body reduces the risk of breakage.

PointTeQ tip and fast drilling

The drill bit features a special self-centring PointTeQ tip that prevents slipping on smooth surfaces and simplifies starting a hole without a centre punch. The tip has a 135° angle, which contributes to fast work progress. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) according to the DIN 338 standard, the drill bit maintains its sharpness and performance when drilling into various types of metal, including alloyed and non-alloyed steel, cast steel or cast iron.

Durability and efficient material removal

The body of the drill bit has high elasticity, which reduces the risk of it breaking under high load or if slightly misaligned. Smooth material removal is aided by the black oxide-coated flute. This coating reduces friction and helps to quickly clear chips from the drilled hole. The drill bit has a cylindrical shank.
