The DEWALT chainsaw is used for cutting wood and other carpentry work. The 2,900W brushless motor powers the saw and maintains a cutting speed of 13.5m/s with no drop in performance. The design uses a 54V battery for power. It offers 4HP, which is equivalent to a 50cm³ internal combustion engine. The 2,900W brushless motor drives the Oregon chain on a 50cm bar. The low-consumption oil lubrication mechanism keeps the cutting system running smoothly during operation.
Workplace safety is enhanced by an integrated chain brake that stops movement instantly when needed. The rubberised handles make it easy to hold the machine firmly with both hands throughout the entire cutting process. The ergonomic design helps reduce user fatigue during prolonged use.
The device works with 54V XR FLEXVOLT batteries. On a single 9Ah charge, the saw can make up to 65 cuts in 150 × 150mm timber. The system eliminates the need to handle a power cord or fuel.
