The Hoteche laser distance meter with a working range of 0.05 - 60 m is suitable for home use, as well as for builders or professional surveyors. Made of plastic and metal, the device offers plenty of functions and simple, intuitive operation. In addition to the classic distance measurement, the rangefinder allows you to easily find the content of a square and triangle or calculate the volume of a cube or a cone. The Hoteche HT284902 can measure to three decimal places and the results are displayed on a backlit LCD display. The instrument can store up to 100 readings in its memory. The Hoteche rangefinder comes in a foam-filled box, 2× 1.5 V AAA batteries, with a safety catch, to prevent unwanted falls, and a practical case.

Modern laser technology
The Hoteche HT284902 rangefinder is equipped with modern laser technology that guarantees very accurate measurements. When the READ button is pressed for the first time, the second class laser (635 nm) is triggered, which serves as a range finder. The point where the laser shines becomes the point of measurement of the speed beyond which the reflected photons are captured on the optics of the device when the button is pressed a second time. Therefore, the meter is classified as an active rangefinder, which measures distances through transmitted energy.
