Environmentally friendly material
The pellets are made of compressed coconut coir and contain no peat. This environmentally friendly material lets you plant the seedlings directly into the soil along with the pellet casing, eliminating the risk of damaging delicate roots. These roots can later easily penetrate the fine, loose structure of the fibres and continue growing in the soil. Coconut coir is also completely harmless to the soil as it is fully biodegradable. Instructions for use
Place the pellets in a mini propagator, container, flowerpot or similar, and pour over plenty of water. The pellet expands its volume several times over. Pour away any excess water that the pellets can no longer absorb. Then make a hole using a dibber or another pointed tool and place your seed(s). Depending on the plant species, cover the seed(s) with the coconut substrate surrounding the planted seed. Coconut coir binds water extremely well and keeps the seeds sufficiently hydrated for a long time.
