Preparation:
For best results, ensure the surface is clean and free from wax or oil. If wax has been used, clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit. We recommend sanding bare wood and previously painted or varnished surfaces before painting. Make sure new concrete is sound, fully cured and free of laitance.
Application:
Apply at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. Stir thoroughly before use. The product can be applied by brush or roller. When applying by brush, apply evenly, following the grain of the wood. When using a roller, use a short pile mohair roller. Two coats are recommended.
Coverage:
Up to 14m²/L. Coverage may vary depending on the application method and rate, and the porosity of the surface.
Drying time:
Touch dry in 1 hour. Apply a second coat after 4 hours, if necessary. Wait 24 hours before putting the room back into use. Full hardness is achieved after 7 days – do not wash the floor during this time.
Clean-up:
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing with water. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paint.
Storage:
2 years (unopened) from the date of manufacture (see bottom of tin).
VOC information:
EU limit value for this product (cat. IIA/i): 140g/L (2010).

Not for direct application to metal. This is not a stain-blocking product. Prime any surfaces where stain bleeding may occur, including knots, with a suitable stain-blocking primer. If you are unsure, test on an inconspicuous area before painting. Not recommended for outdoor use or on areas subject to regular water contact, such as bathrooms, or on areas subject to heavy wear, such as garage floors.
