The Honduran coffee with minimal acidity comes from the Cocafelol growing organisation in the town of La Labor in western Honduras, where local coffee trees are grown at altitudes between 1,200 and 1,700 metres above sea level. m. Thanks to the high humidity, average temperatures of around 20ºC and the rich mineral soil, the grains have a rich and distinctive flavour. Harvesting takes place once a year, always by hand.

High quality
Cocafelol was founded in the town of La Labour, in the Ocotepeque region, in 2000 by the joint efforts of 20 local producers. Since then, it has been providing technical and financial support to local farmers to grow choice coffees. In recent years, the organization has focused primarily on high quality, select coffees grown organically, making local producers holders of USDA organic and Fairtrade certificates.
