Performance built on an unlocked Intel Core Ultra 7 processor

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor brings a hybrid architecture to the HP Z2 G1i with 8 performance and 16 efficiency cores. That's a total of 24 cores and 24 threads with a frequency boosted by Intel Turbo Boost technology up to 5.7GHz. The 36MB L3 cache speeds up access to frequently used data during demanding calculations and simulations. The NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell graphics card is one of the most powerful single-slot GPUs on the market, built on the Blackwell architecture with 8960 CUDA cores. The fifth-generation Tensor cores deliver up to three times the performance of the previous generation and support FP4 precision for faster processing of AI models. The fourth-generation RT cores then double the rendering performance. Smooth system operation is handled by 64GB of DDR5 RAM, while the 1TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD storage ensures fast access to large project files.

Security and connectivity for professional deployment

The HP Z2 G1i supports powering up to 600W discrete graphics with a three-monitor setup. Intelligent fan control adjusts speeds in real time, and new mesh ventilation optimises airflow inside the case. Ample internal space and tool-less access make it easy to add more memory, storage, or specialised PCIe cards. In terms of connectivity, the workstation offers integrated Wi-Fi, DisplayPort and miniDisplayPort ports, as well as three USB 2.0 ports. The computer runs on Windows 11 Pro, and the package includes a keyboard and mouse, so the workstation is ready for immediate deployment.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.

The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.

Datová suverenita a bezpečnost: proč citlivá data nepatří do veřejného cloudu

Validated AI: Pre-tested AI systems for real-world operation

Two AI systems with the same accelerator class can perform very differently in real-world operations. A pre-tested configuration helps verify compatibility, actual performance, and the limits of a specific workload before purchase, thereby reducing the risk of costly troubleshooting after the hardware is delivered.

The Lifecycle of AI Hardware: How to Make a Purchase That Won't Become Obsolete

AI hardware pays off based on factors other than its technical lifespan—the decisive factor is the point at which its operation becomes less cost-effective than the available alternative. The article offers advice on how to assess a system’s economic lifespan, what to focus on when comparing new-generation accelerators, which parts of the infrastructure (not just GPUs) typically reach their limits first, and how to factor in purchasing, leasing, and phased upgrades into the decision-making process. It also includes tips on how to continue making meaningful use of older hardware after it has been taken out of primary production.

AI Agents and Automation in Practice: From Pilot to Production

AI agents are currently attracting companies with quick pilot projects, in which it’s relatively easy to verify initial benefits. The true value only becomes apparent when the agent proves itself in day-to-day practice and the company can safely integrate it with its data, systems, and internal policies. This article explains how the demands on performance, monitoring, and infrastructure surrounding the model itself change during the transition from testing to production. It will help clarify when a workstation or a smaller AI server is sufficient for a company and when it needs a more robust solution.
